Born of Hope – Online Dec 1st

As you all know, it will surely take a while before Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro, can present the most awaiting The Hobbit, it will probably take another year or so, before we can enjoy it.

However, do not despair; there is still hope. Because tomorrow, is the day when a movie that will take you back to Middle-earth, has its online premiere, Born of Hope.

Born of Hope is inspired by only a couple of paragraphs in the appendices of the Lord of the Rings and is directed and produced by Kate Madison, who also plays a role in the movie as well.

The story is set before the events in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and follows the Dúnedain, the Rangers of the North. The main characters are Aragorn’s parents, Arathorn and Gilraen, and we get to experience their destiny, from when they first meet, through a troublesome time in their and their people’s history.

This is a low budget production, filmed entirely in the UK, with a limited amount of special effects and CGI. However, judging by the trailer, I think that the crew shows that you can come a long way, with a lot of enthusiasm and passion, which often tends to outweigh a large budget.

Nevertheless, tomorrow you’ll be able to embrace this Tolkien drama, online at DailyMotion. If you want to read more about Born of Hope, you can visit their website located at http://www.bornofhope.com
